The Intermodal Asia 2026 concluded successfully at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Center from April 2224. As a key participant in the green transformation of the container industry chain, Shanghai Haoli Coatings Co., Ltd. showcased a range of independently developed "green   functional" coating products at th exhibition, demonstrating the latest achievements of Chinese coating enterprises in environmental protection and high-performance corrosion protection to global customers.


During the exhibition, the Haoli booth in Hall G30 attractednt attention from numerous domestic and international shipping companies, lessors, and container owners. This was not only due to the environmental attributes of its products but also stemmed from the solid R&ation behind them.

R&D-Driven: From "Manufacturing" to "Intelligent Manufacturing"

According to on-site technical personnel, the new generation of water-based coatings displayed oli not only emit significantly lower levels of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) than traditional solvent-based coatings, aligning with the green product evaluation system standards promoted by the China Container Industry Association, but have also achieved a breakthrough in corrosion resistance. Addressing the long-standing challenge of salt spray erosion faced by marine containers, Haoli's corrosion-resistant water-based ylic polyurethane coating utilizes unique composite filler technology to significantly enhance the bonding strength of the coating in harsh marine environments, providing full lifecycle protection for containers.

 

Deeply Cultivating the Industrial Chain: Gaining Industry Association Recognition

Notably, during this exhibition, the China Container Industry Association officially unveiled the "iner Coating and Painting Branch," marking the industry's high regard for the professionalization of the coating and painting segment. As a high-tech enterprise deeply rooted in this field, Shhai Haoli Coatings not only maintains industry-university-research cooperation with universities such as Fudan University and established a pilot base for the Ministry of Education's Advanced Coatings Engineering Rese Center, but also actively contributes to industry talent cultivation by establishing the "Haoli Scholarship."

Gu Haifeng, Chairman of the company, stated at the exhibition: "Green is ot a choice, but a mandatory question for the future of container manufacturing.
